Your UTR rating

Last updated on Aug 26, 2026

UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) is the global tennis rating — the same number the pros, colleges and tournaments use. Tennis Ladder is an official UTR partner, so you can connect your UTR account and see your real rating right here.

What connecting does

  • Shows your official UTR on your own profile.
  • Lets a confirmed match opponent see it too (so you both know the level) — it's never shown on public boards.
  • Your confirmed singles results at the club can count toward your rating.

How to connect

  1. Get a UTR account if you don't have one — it's free at app.utrsports.net.
  2. In the app, open your profile (tap your avatar) — or go to Your Serve and look for the Connect · UTR tile.
  3. Tap Connect with UTR, sign in to UTR once, and approve.
  4. You'll come back to Tennis Ladder with your rating linked and showing.

About your number

  • If you've played enough rated matches, you'll see your verified UTR.
  • If not yet, you'll see an estimated range (e.g. "3 – 5") — play more and it firms up into a single number.
  • We always show exactly what UTR gives us — we never round or invent precision.

Privacy & control

  • Your UTR shows only to you and a confirmed opponent — never publicly.
  • Disconnect any time from your profile; we tell UTR to unlink straight away.
  • We refresh your rating at most once a day.

Not seeing the option? You'll find Connect · UTR on your profile or on Your Serve once you're signed in.
