Court Coins and the Coin Shop

Last updated on Oct 13, 2026

Court Coins are the game's reward for getting on court. Every competitive match banks you coins โ€” win or lose โ€” and now you can spend them too.

Earning coins

  • +2 for every match you play
  • +1 for every game you win (the "6" in a 6โ€“4 set), even in a match you lose
  • ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Giant-killer: beat someone above you on the ladder for up to +5 bonus coins (only when you started below them, against a rating with results behind it)
  • ๐Ÿ‘‘ Bounty: topple the ladder's No. 1 for +5 on top

Ladder matches, tournaments, box leagues and Pickup Doubles all pay the same way. Friendlies and walkovers never pay.

Prizes. Win a tournament and you bank 100 coins as standard. Organisers can put up bigger prizes on any tournament or One Point Slam, often a runner-up prize too (e.g. 300 for the winner, 150 for second). In doubles, each player gets the full amount. You'll see the prizes on the tournament page, and they land in your wallet the moment the final is saved.

Your wallet

The standings boards show this season's coins, but your wallet keeps every coin you've ever banked โ€” seasons reset, the wallet doesn't. Find it at the top of Your Serve (the wallet tile) or under More โ†’ Coin Shop.

The Shop has its own tab on Your Serve, and every Court Coins receipt on a result links straight to it.

Spending them

  • ๐Ÿท๏ธ Profile title (25) โ€” wear "Court Ninja", "Ace Machine" or "Rally Rebel" under your name. One purchase unlocks the slot; switch titles (or wear none) free, any time.
  • โšก Extra wildcard (150) โ€” once you've used your free season wildcard, buy one more to leapfrog anyone above you. One bought wildcard per league per season. Wildcards work on ladders where the organiser has them switched on โ€” not in box leagues, and not while a league's table is hidden โ€” so the shop only offers one where you can use it.
  • โœจ Gold ring (100) โ€” a gold ring around your avatar, everywhere you appear. While you wear it, it takes the place of your level ring (same size, never a second ring on top). Yours forever; tap Equip or Unequip whenever you like โ€” the shop shows Wearing on the one you have on.
  • โœจ Silver ring (60) and lime ring (80) โ€” the same ring in two more colours. Own any you like; wear one at a time.
  • โœจ Name effects โ€” dress your name on the standings: Shimmer (75), Ice (70), Neon (80), Flame (90) or Gold foil (100). Each one you buy is yours forever; wear one at a time and switch free.
  • ๐ŸŽฌ Walk-on entrance (60) โ€” make an entrance. When a match is on, your walk-on plays behind you on the "It's on!" screen, and your opponent sees it too. Pick Lightning, Inferno, Stadium lights or Ticker-tape, and switch free whenever you like. Tap Preview to see each one before you spend a coin.
  • ๐ŸŽจ Share-card skins (80) โ€” dress the result card you share to WhatsApp or Instagram. Pick Gold standard, Night session, Clay court or Hard court, and switch free whenever you like (or go back to club green). Tap Preview to see a real card in that style before you spend a coin.
  • ๐Ÿ† Limited editions โ€” numbered and capped, never made again. Own the Golden Racket and your profile says No. 3 of 10 for good. One each, first come first served, at a fixed price โ€” never a lucky dip. Each card says how many will ever exist (10 ever, 3 per club) and, while it's on sale, how many are left. Some are only for a few members at each club (the Club Founder ring: three per club). Some can't be bought at all, only earned โ€” the Giant-Killer crown for the first ten to beat a No. 1, and the Centre Court Legend card for the first five to win three Centre Court matches. Tap Remind me on an upcoming drop and we'll tell you the moment it opens. Each drop is on sale for two weeks โ€” whatever isn't claimed by then is never made, so the ones that exist stay rare. Limited editions can't be gifted or swapped (yet).
  • ๐ŸŽƒ Limited drops โ€” some items are only on sale for a few weeks a year. The Halloween drop (Pumpkin ring 66, Spooky name 66) is on sale until 31 October โ€” the Coin Shop shows how many days are left. Buy it in time and it's yours to keep and wear all year; after that it comes back next October.
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Taunt pack (20) โ€” five trash-talk taunts for the price of four. Serve them from any fixture or a player's ยทยทยท menu; a taunt from your pack costs no coins on the day, and the send button tells you how many you have left. If a taunt can't be delivered, it goes back in your pack. Adult leagues only.
  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Streak shield (30) โ€” away or injured for a week? A shield keeps your weekly playing streak alive through one empty week. It's used automatically the week you need it; hold up to two.
  • ๐Ÿฆ Team crest (40, doubles) โ€” pick an emoji crest for your pair; it sits beside your team name on the standings. Either partner can buy it, and each new crest is a fresh purchase.
  • ร—2 Double down (10) โ€” backed a winner on a fixture's "Who wins?" poll? Tap Double down under your call and it scores double points on the Predictor table, right or wrong. Not available on your own matches, and it closes when the match starts. Once doubled, the call stays (you can still switch sides). If the match is never played (cancelled, expired or a walkover), your 10 coins come back automatically. Your coin activity shows whether it landed, and what it was worth.
  • ๐Ÿ‘• Club merch โ€” coming soon.

How the Predictor pays

Calling a winner is free, and always will be. What changed in October: a correct call is now worth the odds you took, not a flat point. Back the favourite at 1.68 and a right call is worth 1.68; back the outsider at 2.47 and it's worth 2.47. Get it wrong and it's worth nothing โ€” you never lose points, and nothing is staked. The odds are worked out from how your club voted, and they settle when the result lands โ€” so they are the club's final verdict on that match, not a snapshot from the moment you tapped. The number on the fixture card moves as votes come in and nudges slightly for recent form; the score uses the club vote alone.

Double down doubles whatever that call is worth.

At the end of each month the top three on the club's Predictor table are paid:

Place Court Coins
๐Ÿฅ‡ 1st 150 โ€” exactly one wildcard challenge
๐Ÿฅˆ 2nd 75
๐Ÿฅ‰ 3rd 50

First place also takes the Oracle of the Month badge. You need at least four settled calls in the month to be in the running, and your accuracy has to beat a coin toss โ€” no hollow crowns. Calling your own match never counts, in either direction.

The three paying places carry a medal and their prize on the table, so you can always see what's still worth chasing.

At the foot of the shop, Recently bought at the club shows what other members have picked up lately โ€” first names and items only, never balances.

Can't afford something yet? The shop shows exactly how many more coins you need โ€” every match closes the gap.

Team names (doubles). A pair can buy a name for the standings โ€” pick one of our suggestions or type your own (up to 30 characters, keep it club-friendly: names are checked, and your organiser can reset one that shouldn't be there). Either half of the pair can buy it; every rename is a fresh purchase at the same price.

Coin activity

Tap Coin activity at the bottom of the shop for your full ledger โ€” every match that earned you coins and everything you've spent, newest first. The timeline uses the same arithmetic as your balance, so the numbers always add up.

The fair-play bit

Spending never moves any leaderboard โ€” standings, Player of the Month and Chase the Pros all rank coins earned, so redeeming a perk can't drop you. Coins are earned by playing only: they can't be bought with money, gifted, traded or wagered.

๐ŸŸ๏ธ Centre Court

Got a match that matters? On Your Serve, tap โ‹ฏ on your match card (or open the match from Results โ†’ Upcoming) and choose Put it on Centre Court for 25 coins. It becomes the match the club is watching: a Centre Court badge on the fixture for everyone to see, a heads-up to your opponent โ€” and whoever wins takes 15 Court Coins from the club (in doubles, 8 each for the winning pair), with Won on Centre Court on their result. The loser doesn't lose anything extra, and nobody's coins go to anyone else: the prize comes from the club and is always less than the booking, so it's a spotlight with a prize, never a bet. If the match doesn't get played, your 25 coins come straight back. Adult ladders only. Not sure what a ๐ŸŸ๏ธ badge means? Tap it on a result or your match card for a quick explainer (or open the match), with a shortcut to your own matches.
